Luscious Cups was founded by Jennifer Shapiro, a physician who continues to care for people during their hardest moments at the end of life. Through this work, she came to believe something deeply: joy is not frivolous — it's essential.

Joy doesn't only live in life's biggest celebrations. More often, it comes quietly in the small moments — the ones you notice when you slow down: a rainbow on the drive home from work, a shared laugh with a best friend, an unexpected flash of clarity that makes you smile to yourself.

Luscious Cups was created to celebrate these everyday joys — to invite us to pause, feel, and appreciate what's right in front of us, starting with the mug we use for our morning sips.
